Easirent Rental Terms for travel between 26-Apr-2018 and 31-Dec-2019

Rates Include:
    • Taxes and Fees
    • Unlimited mileage on all rental from 1-29 days, except for local renters.  See local renter’s policy for more information.


Age Requirements:
Driver's Age. Minimum Age of Drivers: 21.  All drivers must hold their driving licence for at least 1 year. Drivers aged 21 and 24 years old must have held their full driving license for a minimum of two years and are subject to an Underage Drivers surcharge of USD 25.00 per day. Additionally, Underage Drivers must book and rent vehicles that fall under our mini, economy, compact, midsize and full-size car classes.
Underage charges and restrictions will apply to all additional drivers.
Maximum age we can supply to, is 75 years old.


License and Documentation Requirements:
The driver must be in possession of a valid driving license that has been held for at least 12 months, and with no major endorsements, for details of major endorsements please check with us.
International hirers must present a valid license from their country of residence and their passport; if the license from that country is not written in English then an International driver permit is required. 
Proof of Insurance coverage and Liability will be required.
We cannot accept North Korean driving license for insurance purposes, South Korean is acceptable.
Points - endorsements. Minor offences such as speeding and traffic signals are acceptable up to a maximum of 6 points. If you have any bans or convictions in the last 5 years please call us before making a reservation.


One Way Rentals: 
One Way Rentals are permitted between our branch networks, local one-way hires are charged at the branch.


Payment Methods:
All major credit / debit cards are accepted for payment / However, credit cards are required to cover our deposit and must be valid to the minimum for the following month from the start of rental. All cards presented must be in the Main Renters name. 

Debit Cards will not be accepted for deposit.
Cash is not allowed under any circumstances.


Up to USD1800.00 for international hirers.
Up to USD500.00 for Local or US residents.

Fuel Policy:
1. All cars are taken with a full tank of fuel or like for like.
2. The full tank of fuel can be purchased at the start of the rental at national pump prices. No mark-up on upfront fuel is levied.*
3. If the rental is taken on a "full-to-full" basis, the car must be returned with a full tank of fuel from a garage no more than 5 miles away from the car rental branch. Proof of this (receipt/credit card receipt) is required when the car is returned.
4. If the car is returned less than a full tank, the refuelling charge is USD7.99 per Gallon, plus a refuelling admin fee of USD9.99. All prices are plus tax.
5. If the car is returned without proof of a local fill-up, the car will be taken to the local garage and re-filled up. All fuel added will be charged at USD7.99 per Gallon, plus a refuelling admin fee of USD9.99.All prices are plus tax.
*No refund for any unused fuel at the end of the rental.


Mileage Policy: (International and out of state)
Unlimited Mileage on all rentals of 1-29 days. For rentals over 30 days, the total weekly mileage is 500 per week. The charge for excess mileage is from .15 cents to .50 cents per mile, depending on the car group.
Mileage Cap: Local Renters are subject to a mileage cap of 150 miles per day for all locations. More mileages are available for purchase:
USD10.00 a day extra 50 miles a day
USD15.00 a day extra 100 miles a day
USD25.00 a day for unlimited miles

Grace period:
Pick up: We shall hold the vehicle for 59 minutes during branch opening hours if pay on arrival and 2 hours if pre-paid.
Return: We shall allow a period of 29minutes overdue during branch opening hours, 

Out of Hours Policy:
Out of hours can be arranged on a request basis, please contact reservation for more details.


Accident / Roadside Assistance:
Basic non-fault coverage included, Easi-Assist premium can be purchased locally for peace of mind.

All extras are paid locally and are inclusive of VAT. 
**Please note that branches are unable to remove optional extras, if clients are looking to remove any extra products this must be done prior to their arrival and through email notification by our partners.


Insurance, Excess and Waivers:
Proof of insurance and Liability is required for this booking. 
CDW can be purchased at the desk.
If CDW is not taken from Easirent, the renter is liable for the full cost of the repair up to the value of the vehicle and must show proof of own coverage.
If Super Peace of Mind Cover is taken at the counter, the insurance excess/deductible is set at USD 0.00. Terms and exclusions may apply.


Cancellation Policy:
Our policy regarding cancellations is that they must be made by email/telephone or alternatively via the “Manage my booking” option on our website. 


Meeting Point:
It is vital the client calls the branch on arrival to any airport so the shuttle bus or meet and greet can be arranged.


Airport Surcharge:
Airport surcharge is applicable to all bookings and included within the rates of the booking.


Flight Information:
If booking a car for collection at an airport location please ensure that you provide a flight number for your arrival. If you do not provide a flight number and you are late then it is possible your booking may be cancelled. No refunds will be given.


Administration Fee
A damage administration fee of USD75.00 will be charged if a vehicle is returned with new damage. This is applicable for every rental.
Traffic and parking Fines: If the vehicle receives a fine during the rental period, you will be responsible for full payment of the fine as well as a USD25.00 traffic fine management fee per fine. This includes, but is not restricted to, parking offences, speeding fines, traffic signal, red light offences, toll road offences, etc... 
Cleaning Fee: If the vehicle requires more than the usual standard cleaning on its return to restore it to its pre-rental condition, allowing for fair wear and tear, a cleaning fee of max USD250.00 will apply.

The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable. 

If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
